Eldeco Group traces its origins to 1975, when S. K. Garg set up the company in Agra to undertake real estate and construction work on professional lines. The Eldeco group was founded in 1975 in Agra by S. K. Garg to professionally undertake real estate and construction projects. Its Lucknow-facing entity, Eldeco Housing & Industries Ltd (EHIL), was incorporated in 1985 and has since held the position of market leader in the state capital. Incorporated in 1985, EHIL has been, for over 3 decades, the market leader in Lucknow, UP's capital and fastest-growing city, and is listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange with an uninterrupted dividend paying record since inception.
Across North India the group's scale is measured in decades and delivered floor area rather than announcements. The Group is synonymous with timely and quality delivery in 20 cities in North India and has already handed over 200 projects spanning large-format integrated townships, high-rise condominiums, industrial estates, malls and office buildings, besides 30 projects in various stages of active execution, with an aggregate delivered area of more than 60 million sq.ft. and over 30,000 satisfied customers. Beyond Lucknow, the same brand operates in Kanpur, Agra, Greater Noida, Noida and Gurgaon, apart from Panipat, Sonipat, Ludhiana, Jhansi, Bareilly, Panchkula, Neemrana, Delhi, Kasauli, Rudrapur, Gorakhpur, Rishikesh and Jalandhar. In Lucknow specifically, one of the group's early landmark moves was a large public-private township. Eldeco established a strong presence in Lucknow developing, among others, a 200-acre township in joint development with Lucknow Development Authority, one of the first instances of Public-Private Partnership in the country. Today, listings trackers count 37 Eldeco projects in Lucknow out of the group's 93-project residential and commercial portfolio nationally.
Eldeco's footprint in Vrindavan Yojna centres on Eldeco Saubhagyam, a mega group-housing project the company brought to the Raebareli Road corridor at a time when the locality was still a nascent UP Awas Vikas Parishad scheme. Company filings place its launch in the early part of the last decade. The company launched a mega group housing project, Eldeco Saubhagyam, at Raibareilly Road comprising 1,100 residential apartments during 2010-11. The project sits at Shaheed Path, Sector 9, Vrindavan Colony, Lucknow and has been built out as a gated, 11-acre development. The project is spread across 11 acres and comprises 13 towers of G+13 floors, with a total of 959 units planned across the layout.
Configurations at Saubhagyam span the width of the family-housing spectrum. Eldeco Saubhagyam offers units in 2 to 4 BHK configurations, from 1,063 to 3,147 sq.ft of saleable area. The project has largely transitioned from launch to livability, with listings describing it as ready for occupation. Eldeco Saubhagyam is currently a ready-to-move project, available at an approximate price of ₹3,350 per sq.ft. onwards. It carries the registration RERA number UPRERAPRJ3783, and, like other Eldeco group-housing addresses, is fitted out with a clubhouse, swimming pool, landscaped gardens, gymnasium, kids' play area, and 24/7 security. A later, smaller phase, Eldeco Saubhagyam T5, extended the same address with 2 and 3 BHK units and its own registration. This phase is ready to move, with possession by December 2021, regulated by Uttar Pradesh RERA under UPRERAPRJ871451.
Vrindavan Yojna's appeal to an Eldeco buyer rests on the same qualities that made it a viable large-format housing site for the group in the first place: a planned layout with room to build at scale, and a location that has steadily gained arterial connectivity. The colony sits directly on the Raebareli Road-Amar Shaheed Path junction. This developing suburb offers sound road connectivity via Amar Shaheed Path and Lucknow-Raibareli Road, and is about 11 km from Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport via NH-27. Healthcare access is unusually close for a peripheral Lucknow address, with SGPGI Hospital approximately 2-3 km away, walkable from several sectors, alongside Medanta among the hospitals serving the locality.
Institutional and civic investment has picked up around the scheme in recent years. Lucknow's civic authorities have committed to a large public venue within the same sector as Eldeco's project. Lucknow's PWD awarded a contract for an international exhibition-cum-convention centre in Vrindavan Yojna's Sector 15 for ₹1,184 crore, designed to accommodate 10,000 people and expected to be completed within 24 months. A separate PPP initiative for a technology and business park has also been cleared for the same sector, adding to the area's non-residential base. Property-rate trackers have recorded steady, not speculative, appreciation through this build-out. Vrindavan Yojna's average property price per sq.ft. for apartments appreciated 7.5% over the last year, while the average monthly rental range in the locality runs between ₹9,700 and ₹21,900, reflecting steady end-user and tenant demand rather than a purely investor-driven market.
Vrindavan Yojna is one of several distinct micro-markets where Eldeco has built out full-scale projects rather than isolated towers. On IIM Road, the group developed Eldeco City, a 133-acre township with plots, villas, apartments and commercial space, well located close to residential hubs such as Jankipuram, Aliganj and Vikas Nagar. In Gomti Nagar's Vibhuti Khand, the company built the Eldeco Elegance residential towers alongside its own corporate office and the Eldeco Corporate Tower commercial address. In the years since, the group's Lucknow launch calendar has continued at a steady clip, running through Eldeco Imperia Phase 2 and Eldeco Latitude 27 in 2023, Eldeco Hanging Gardens and Eldeco Skywalk in April 2025, and Eldeco Trinity along with a new wing at Eldeco Latitude 27 in FY 2025. Set against that backdrop, Saubhagyam represents the group's established, delivered presence on the Raebareli Road side of the city, distinct from its newer IIM Road and Gomti Nagar clusters, and one of the reasons Vrindavan Yojna carries an organised, LDA/Awas Vikas-planned character rather than an unplanned peripheral sprawl.
